Third Overnight – Monday 6/25/18 – Mazama WA

Mazama Country Inn
15 Country Road
Mazama, WA 98833
509-996-2681

Mazama Ranch House
10 Country Rd
Mazama WA, 98833
509-996-2040

In Mazama we will be fully occupying two small hotels which are located adjacent to one another. The rooms in these facilities are an eclectic mix of king, queen, full and single beds. Kings and queens will be two riders to a bed, while fulls and singles will be one rider per bed. Rooms may have one or two beds, so you will be in a room with 1, 2 or 3 other people. We can NOT accommodate any requests or preferences for one or two bed rooms or bed types, so please do not ask. Rooms will be assigned as riders arrive. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

There are NO rooms available at this facility for riders who prefer to make their own reservations, nor for rider support crew. Mazama is barely a wide spot in the road. There is only one other lodging option within 2 miles and it is expensive. See this google listing for more information. If you absolutely must have a support crew person at this location, that person should be in a self-contained vehicle (ie. a small camper van). It’s likely that there would be parking space available at one of the hotels for a camper van or two, but we can not assure that. RVs can not be accommodated.

Finish Control – Tuesday 6/26/18 – Snohomish, WA

Snohomish Soccer Dome
511 Maple Ave
Snohomish, WA 98290
360-568-6812
http://www.snohomishsoccerdome.com/

The finish will be at the Snohomish Soccer Dome at the end of the Centennial Trail. We will have air mattresses set up on the (darkened) soccer field for anyone wishing to stay at the finish overnight. Showers are available.

Attached to the Soccer Dome is the Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant. https://trailsendtaphouse.com/ Friends and family can enjoy a meal on the patio immediately adjacent to the entrance to the soccer dome as they wait for their riders to finish. Early finishers will be encouraged to stay on hand to cheer in later arriving riders while enjoying a celebratory beer (or three) and a meal. We’ve asked the Taphouse to stay open later than their usual hours, so please give them your business. (Taphouse meal/beverages are NOT included in your ride fee.)

The only accommodations in Snohomish are at the Snohomish Inn. The have 21 rooms. We’ve negotiated a group rate. To obtain the group rate, follow the instructions in the email you will receive when your registration is accepted. Because this is the only hotel within walking/cycling distance (about 6 blocks away from the finish), we ask that if you have someone with a car meeting you at the finish that you consider getting a room in Everett instead, which is less than 10 miles away. That will leave the Snohomish Inn available to those riders who are not local and without access to a private vehicle. Thank you.
